Reckless Taylor

Actress Taylor Momsen is known for acting roles as Jenny Humphrey on the Gossip girl and as well as Cindy Lou Who on How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Although, she has a reputation as an actress, many have turned their attention to the uprising band The Pretty Reckless.

Taylor Momsen is the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless and has just recently released their new album Going To Hell. Famous songs such as Heaven Knows has lead them win over more fans. With amount of fans increasing, more concerts have been booked for the band. With only their second album released, success has found the band and fans hope for more to come.

Metallica New Album Release!

            There has been much talk of rock bands releasing albums that have been announced. Sadly, the majority of the albums to be released are without a due. Metallica is such a band. Although the band’s last album release “Death Magnetic” was six years ago, the band has been delivering projects and many concerts since the past last six years. Metallica has recently been admitted into the hall of fame and has become the first band to perform in all seven continents. The anticipated album does not have a specified release date, but Metallica members have already began to work on it and should be released sometime before spring of the year 2015.

Slipknot is a well-known band that is famous for their dark and heavy music that many fans fell in love with as well as their unique apparel. With recent tide turning events and the death of Paul Gray, Slipknot’s bassist, all music development was put to a hold.

The grieving members of Slipknot ceased their music career to the impact of their loss, until recently. Slipknot announced that a new album was under development and new material was going to be introduced. However, although the announcement is great news, long time member Joey Jordison (drummer of Slipknot) will not take part in the band. There are different stories as to whether Joey left the band or was kicked out. All that was said is that Joey has left due to “personal reasons”.  Many Fans are upset about the outcome of Joey. However, conclusions should not be drawn until all the information is present. Joey could have done something that could jeopardize the band’s success. Nothing is certain.

  So how will this effect future song writing? Well a new drummer is being searched for and vocalist Corey Taylor promises to keep their music along the same lines to what the fans fell in love with. I believe there might be some changes in their future song writing, but it won't be a negative change. Should it change, it shouldn't be too drastic and should not require too much adjustment from the fans. I for one am a fan and I am trying to understand what the band must be going through. What the fans think of them now will show in the outcome of their future.
